I have a 1991 Freightliner FLD semi for sale. It has 1.4 million miles on it. It has a 3176 caterpillar engine and a 10 speed transmission. The engine was overhauled around 30,000 miles ago, but I have no paperwork to prove it. I am the third owner. The truck was bought new and went over the road and was well taken care of. I have been using it to haul corn, soybeans, and wheat.
In the June 2021, the air bags and drive tires were replaced. Exhaust was replaced at the same time with new pipe and a new muffler. Some gaskets were replaced in the fall.
In April 2022, the water pump, brake shoes and drums, and wheels seals were replaced.
It has a small oil leak up near the front cover. I have not gotten this fixed, but checked the oil level daily and added as necessary to get me through the end of harvest.
One gear seems a little sticky when shifting out of it. I always double clutched that gear and it worked fine. Im not sure what the problem is there.
I have lots of pictures, price is obo since it needs some small fixes. I ended up buying a newer truck and dont need to run two, so this one is for sale. Call, text, or message on bisman.
