Round bale feeder for horses

Care is taken to round off corners and ensure there are no protruding edges or weld beads. I started making these for our horses when we didn't find anything we liked for feeding round bales to them. They eat over the top bar, so there is nothing to rub manes or necks on. The dimensions were determined so they can't get feet caught up in anything if they were to kick out. I understand how creative horses can be in finding ways to get themselves into pickles, so if it would help, I'd be happy to provide a video showing the design of these feeders and answer any questions you may have.

Made from 2 3/8" drill stem pipe, all joints are saddle cut. These are very sturdy and will last a lifetime. 6'x6', 45" tall, easy to load hay with any equipment, including from a bale bed. They fit tipped on its side in the back of a pickup for easy transportation.

If only feeding a couple horses, these work awesome with round bale hay nets.
