Shop Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and more.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with both light and heavy-duty diesel engines.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Job Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Service Tech/Mechanic with a focus on construction equipment and diesel engines.

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Ability to perform trailer repairs, From brakes, seal and bearing to electrical repairs.

- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, including fuel, cooling, and exhaust.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

- Ability to perform small cutting and welding task.

- Certification from a recognized technical or vocational school is a plus.
