T/C Contender barrel and scope package

The barrel is factory chambered in 357 Herrett which pushes a 180 gr bullet at 2000 fps. It can go faster, but this was a nice accurate load. Brass for this caliber is easially formed from 30-30 winchester cases by running them through the full length resizing die, trimming to length and fireforming. It is a GREAT deer caliber out to about 300 yards. The last deer I shot with this barrel was a muley buck in the north dakota badlands at 170 yards. He dropped where he stood.
