Antique general store lead shot dispenser - Reproduction

This is number two of only two handmade reproduction replicas of antique general store shot shell lead shot dispensers from the early 1900's. These stored and dispensed bulk lead shot for shotgun shells. Made of solid oak. These display cases were found in hardware stores from 1880 to 1920.

The piece is made from solid oak and features eight hoppers/compartments for different sized shot; and includes cup to catch shot and funnel for filling ports.

Pellets of various sizes are loaded into top, and then dispensed thru the funneled scuppers.

You would select the size of shot you wanted & dispensed into a small canvas bag for purchase.

Each compartment has a glass panel and spouts to pour the shot from. Spouts are 3D printed and copied to mirror original specifications.

Each spout has a separate locking lever for the funneled scuppers; simply lift up to release shot.

There are two drawers for accessories with porcelain knobs at the bottom of the cabinet.

The shotgun shell shot dispenser is a handmade reproduction in new unused condition.

The piece measures 10" x 25" and is 12.5" tall.

These are rare and hard to find, and what you find are usually in fair to poor condition. These are unique and fully functional.

A great addition to your collection/display/mancave; and a great way to display those unused bags of lead shot.
